Nothing too dramatic here. Our daughter,Jen, has recently moved into a new house and is blissfully happy. Georgie starts SCHOOL on my birthday this year!! (Goddess,I'm getting old)....James & his other half & his dog live across town and will soon be getting officially engaged,the numbnuts! He's too young! Way too young! However,I don't want to make a modern day Romeo & Juliet outta 'em,so I'll smile & agree and let nature take it's course.
Baz & I are enjoying being the old farts! We have SO much fun together. I am SO glad I married that man all those decades ago.

Home at last.
Have been to Perth to help the young-ones (#1 son) pack house and move back to the country. Well they packed, I cleaned, which wasn't much. Just bloody kids hand marks from future daughter in laws nieces and nephews. Hope they train any future rug rats better.
It was bloody hot up there.
Have their engagement party to organise. The backyard is a bloody let down. Not here to trickle water over weeds. Hank the dog is bored, so he has been re-arranging the soil.
#2 son has had falling out with French g/f. I received a message from her, in broken pigeon English asking me to talk to him. Appears someone has the knives out for her.
#3 son brought a Ute. I haven't seen it as yet. Heard all about it. Next on the list is a motor bike. Wonder when he is getting rid of current g/f. Doesn't sound like a nice person when drinking. I am sure she will keep away from me for awhile, won't have no sheila hitting my son's in a drunken rage. X told me all about that. Lucky she didn't belt him.
The weather has cooled here, poor ol Vic and South Oz are burning, Melbourne is over heating, not sure about the rest. Should be pretty bloody hot. Some fecking "I am so upset with my life" fool threw his 4 yr old daughter off a bridge and killed her. There is still carnage on our roads, ppl in a bloody hurry, for what!!!!.
Going to watch Nadal and Federer in the tennis tonight.

OMG.catching up time.I forget everything, as intruders in my garden.what a feckin fright I got...........grrrrr
sitting in the lounge reading and the security ligh goes on.I looked up thinking it's a cat, low and behold me and mans figure walks past.shit!!!!.(the window I saw him pas was in the hall, leaden and coloured).......anyways I shoved lights off in the lounge and peeped out of the window, two scally looking men high jumped over the wall and walked, quite in a strolling way pass my house crossed the road and they high tailed it it into a side road....woke hubby up.who then went looking for them..grrrrrrrr............I gave police discriptions but hey.......trespassing into someones gated garden is not big deal!!!!!!!..........lol.I was shaking and my heart almost gave out...but that's just my concern?

I phoned the insurance company that
our post office has the benefits with,
to see if I could get dental coverage.
Because of the position I have which is actually
only 14 1/4 hours per week (which I think in
the last 15 months I have had maybe 4 or 5
weeks of that...the rest has been anywhere
between 30-40 hours per week), I get diddly
squat for benefits. Anyway, I phoned to see if
I could get benefits with them just taking the
payment out of my paycheck. They of course
told me I couldn't because my actual position
is only the 14 1/4 hours. Isn't that just a whole
lot of freakin' BS!!!!

You said it Ima. Although now days, I think a lot of us are fairly lucky to be working. Bloody government.

All that put away.had a fantastic weekend, hubby got romantic (for a change)....I did a lovely meal (more romance ..lol ......oops, anyway...Sunday was busy with in- laws calling and my nephew with daughter and 3 g/kids.fed and watered, some went by 5pm I took daughter and kids home by 6.30pm......Hubby went away today mid morning.so I have 4 days alone.or so I thought, as soon as everyone knew I was alone they started making plans for MY
time ..so hence I have Monday free to shop, the rest of the time, well I'm at their beck and call.....lol....

Hi all, hope life has been treating you all with great respect.
The happening’s at Roo’s house.
The dog, Hank has once again taken over the back yard. I beat him with the planting of grass. He wasn’t around when I did it, so he didn’t dig it up and give it back to me…. Such a good boy. * Over it*.
I transplanted all my plants into pots, so the garden is now bear, he can go hard with digging. Turns the soil over for me. I growl, but not to hard……
His master, son Rick and partner Kylie, stayed here a couple nights, while looking for a house. Oh man, do I like living on my own. They are tidy, but aren’t, if that makes sense.
You would never guess, well maybe you would if you knew my kids, I now have a “happy weed” along side all my plants. And am getting instructions on how to take care of it. One wonders who will take care of me if I get caught with it, this is a rental house after all. LOL.
I have to save harder now, spoke to Mother the other day, she sounds rather feeble. Also sleeps more often than she use to. It is a worry when she is the other side of Australia. I am hoping the dreaded day doesn’t rush to meet me and my family to soon. I know its coming. *sigh*
Other two sons’ are going great. Youngest Paul brought a ute and is doing it up. He also brought a speed way car. Not sure if he is racing this year. Oh goody, something else to worry about. LOL As long as he is happy. Middle son Craige’ is saving for a motor bike.
And I thought my worries were nearly at an end. I am sure they are all trying to put me into an early grave.

Ok back again. I know I shouldn't complain, I haven't worked in over 12mths. I got a job at the local roadhouse, and even before I started I knew I would hate it. Been there done that. But I felt guilty not working.
Was on the feet for 4 hrs this morning and the sciatic nerve went troppo. Hurt like bloody hell and I went home. Mind you I was doing a trial period. Like 8 hrs and not being paid. Well I got the phone call tonight letting me know that they don't want me back till I am better. Lawdy, I am hoping the other job that I applied for (office manager) comes through. I am to old to be slogging it out any more.
